Strange lights in the sky reported near Colorado Springs

Yesterday as the sun was rising, many people reported seeing three what were described “fireballs” in the sky. It appeared that they were falling toward the earth and some people were able to get about 10 minutes of incredible footage. The big question: what were they? Several agencies including the National Weather Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the Federal Aviation Agency were all looking into the matter. According the American Meteor Society, around that same time a meteor shower was in the area.
