Metallica’s ‘Lux Aeterna’ Gets Stripped Down

isolated drum and guitar tracks from Metallica's latest single!

While I hesitate to use the word ‘musician’ when describing myself, I am a person who likes to play a guitar from time to time.

In my years of intense research, I have discovered that one of the more fun ways to enjoy an instrument is to just pretend you’re a famous musician.

The way that I found this task to be achievable, was to find drum tracks to play to.

While those early days of a young Sheriff Joe Bags were played to the drums of bands like Disturbed, the internet has given this kind of guitar player a steady stream of isolated drum tracks and have inspired many late night learning sessions (band practice – obviously) to now pretend to be the most sought after instrumentalist in the history of music!

Move over, Zakk Wylde and Mike Portnoy! There’s a new guy who gets to (pretend to) play in every single band ever!

For the guitarist out there, here is the isolated drum track to Metallica’s ‘Lux Aeterna’ so now YOU can make a whole story about how Kirk’s plane got stranded in a snow storm and the rest of the band has enlisted you to fill the void.

Guitar skills sold separately.
