Monday October 3, 2017 was a dark day in American music.

So, let’s not mourn the life of Tom Petty. He lived a full one. Let’s celebrate it. That’s what he would want us to do.

This goes out to the victims of the attack in Las Vegas. You were all there in unity to celebrate life and the music you love. You didn’t deserve any of that. We love you and stand by you.

Remember that time Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers lost their drummer so they asked Dave Grohl to fill-in on drums for their SNL performance? Yeah, I had forgot that too! Here you go:

Fridays was a sketch comedy show back in the day. I remember this performance because Tom broke out his double neck guitar and that’s just next level bad ass.

Let’s not forget he was the unforgettable Lucky on King of the Hill.
