Evacuations ordered for two separate fires in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- The Colorado Springs Fire Department is currently fighting two grass fires; one near Stetson Hills Boulevard and Anna Lee Way and the other at Skylark Mobile Home Park east of I-25 and south of Garden of the Gods Road. Evacuations were ordered for Summer Grace and Akerman Drive, and was extended to include Anna Lee Way west to Tutt, and Stetson Hills north to Dublin. If you’re in these areas, evacuate immediately. If you’ve been evacuated, the UCHealth Park is an evacuation center.

Students at Skyview Middle School will be at Sand Creek High School’s west entrance for pick up. Ridgeview Elementary School will be at the north entrance of Vista Ridge for pick up. Please have IDs ready for pick up.

A separate fire burning at the Skylark Mobile Home Park near UCCS at 3831 N Cascade Avenue also need to evacuate.
