Discarded car engines transformed into stunning one-of-a-kind electric guitars. These incredible electric guitars are crafted from discarded car engine heads. Slovenian craftsman Vlado Plateis hand-builds each guitar, with every instrument completely unique. Rather than hiding the engine’s industrial past, he leaves the bolt holes, combustion chambers and machined edges fully exposed. Every guitar starts with a different engine head, meaning no two instruments are ever the same. Instead of reshaping the metal, Plateis builds each guitar around the original casting, preserving its unique character. Plateis said: “Every guitar is handmade and truly one of a kind”.
