For tonight’s cover we take a listen to the creepified Message In A Bottle from Machine Head’s 1999 album The Burning Red. The original was popularized by The Police and was a huge hit for the band. Machine Head slow it down and give it a creepier, more menacing twist that I am digging! Hit play and get ready for the goosebumps. For more Hump The Covers Off check out my blog...read more

Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson are hitting the road for the Twins Of Evil 2 Tour which kicks off tonight in Detroit. To celebrate the start of the tour the duo released a cover of The Beatles’ Helter Skelter. I wouldn’t be surprised if the pair teamed up to play the cover live each night on tour since they just dropped it as the tour started. Bad Wolves went into the catalog for their cover of Sandblasted Skin from 1996’s The Great Southern Trendkill. It sucks that we keep losing great musicians, so one more time, krank it up, throw up your horns and rock on. ...read more

The two band members were also treated to a cover of their hit Enter Sandman by some local musicians, namely Cardinal Copia from Ghost and members of the metal band Candlemass. Cardinal Copia’s appropriately creepy delivery begins behind the stark melody of a lone piano and then...read more
