This week I was able to find Korn doing a well known cover of Pink Floyd’s Another Brick In The Wall, but what makes it special is that it was filmed here in Colorado! Back in 2013 Korn resurrected their Family Values Tour for a one night stand up in Denver which means some of you psychos might even be in this video filmed at that show! Take a look, take a listen, and let me know if you see yourself! For more Hump The Covers Off check out my blog...read more

Judas Priest just released a name generator like Metallica did last year where you can increase the badassery of your name by 1000%! Just head here, type your name and give it the Judas Priest treatment! Here is Kilo and The Rock Station in Priest type, and then there is my name which looks lame as just two letters. They can’t all be winners I suppose…. Anyway you can catch Judas Priest at the Budweiser Event Center next month, listen to Kilo to win tix, and grab the new Judas Priest album Firepower in stores...read more
A Perfect Circle released a new video today for the track Disillusioned. The video follows a woman through a future where everyone is enslaved by their cell phones and technology, but she breaks free, finds others who are free and then goes back to save a few more. The visuals are stripped down but go perfectly with the slow deliberate pace of the tune. Don’t forget A Perfect Circle’s new album Eat The Elephant drops on April...read more
Today is officially unofficially Shinedown day! The band dropped a new track called Devil from their upcoming album ATTENTION, ATTENTION, hitting store shelves in May. And I am featuring their cover of the Foo Fighters hit Times Like These for today’s cover tune. This version was recorded an as acoustic track during a stop in Kansas City. The show was recorded for a CD/DVD set called Somewhere In The Stratosphere and was released in 2011. Check it out as we celebrate Shinedown day 2018, which is a brand new holiday that I just made up!...read more
The Foo Fighters spent this weekend getting ready for their big upcoming tour which will see them at the Pepsi Center in Rocktober. They shared a video on Twitter of them playing John Lennon’s Imagine music to the lyrics of Van Halen’s Jump! I love it, I wish they would play it live during their show, but they probably won’t. The best part of the video is Taylor Hawkin’s call and response “Jump” to Grohl’s vocals. Check it out! Woodshedding for the summer tour has never felt so good….see you out...read more
I have to admit I fell down a rabbit hole with this week’s cover. And I found a few versions so good that I decided to share them all. In late 70’s there was a band called Tubeway Army which featured Gary Numan on vocals. The bands second album, Replicas, had a tune called Down In The Park. In the mid-90’s the Foo Fighters covered Down In The Park for an X-Files album titled Songs In The Key of X. It also found it’s way onto the single for Monkey Wrench as a b-side and onto the covers compilation Medium Rare which was...read more
